on the subject of carry guns below, I have told this

before but you haven't been bored yet this morning so here goes. I try to get up to see John Taffin as often as I can, which isn't often enough for me. Neither of us are getting any younger. Better looking maybe, bit not any younger. One one of my trips up I spent 3 days with John and also Jim Taylor came up the last couple of days and we had a great time together. The first morning John took me to one of his favorite eating places. As i started to get out of the truck I told John I was carrying a 45. I asked him if he had a gun on. He said no. I started to get back in the truck when he said "I have 3 guns on me". So my one little 45 felt even less protective about them. But everywhere we went that weekend John had his 3 guns on him at all times. And to me that just makes sense. He never flashes them around or shows them to anyone but they are there and it is a good feeling to know that.
