One From My Dad

When I was a kid I wanted a Buck hunting knife for Christmas. On Christmas morning my dad handed me a present, upon opening it I discovered a Buck 121 Fisherman, not quite what I had in mind. The blade is longer and much thinner than the hunting knife I had envisioned. I kept it and used it, but always knew I was carrying a fishing knife when I hunted. Don't get me wrong, it worked fine but it just wasn't a "hunting" knife. Many years later I am glad I still have it and I think of him every time I see it in my box of knives. Over the years I have added more Bucks to my collection and had one of dad's knives completely refurbished by Buck and gave it to one of my boys.(Picture from google images)
