anyone think of a handheld marine (ON THE WATER) radio? They are small and have their own set of frequencies, and weather as well, and are transceivers. It would not be crowded with trash talk as CB normally is and would be unexpected
by anyone trying to pin you down.

waterproof. Both of these are under $150 unless they have changed since January.

The Standard Horizon is by far and away the best of the handheld radios we've found.
