With all of the talk centering around bug out and bug in strategies, what do you think of having a helmet in your kit?

A good friend gave me his old kevlar helmet when he was in Desert Storm. It is the older style kevlar helmet without a cover.

What is your take on that?

the Koreans used to dip the "honey" from the outhouses with a helmet nailed on a stick. Lots of uses for a helmet.
