His good friend had a brother who was pretty severely retarded. They had a rather large ranch east of town with several old homestead homes on it that all that were remaining were the fire pits. They would hook him up with oily rags and he would light them on fire and throw it in the pit! My dad said the guy would scream with delight as the snakes hauled ass out and he’d catch them and throw them in a gunny sack for later use!
