Ammo is like hurricanes....

I have lived on the Gulf Coast most of my adult life. Hurricanes are a way of life....and we have to prepare each year. I know Gary used to live in Florida, so he gets it. I think, and this is just me, ammo should be treated like gasoline and generators....if you wait until you need its, its too late. I try to buy a little bit every chance I get....no other excuse needed. That way when the proverbial Stuart hits the fan, you're not flamboozled. Just my opinion. YMMV. This advice not to be combined with any other advice or offer.

Gary and I had that conversation this evening...

I've always did the same thing. Stores couldn't give ammo away following Trump's victory in 2016. I saw bulk ammo cheaper than empty brass.

I'd bet there are still those not buying a few boxes here and there. I don't get it. We've been there before. Rimfire ammo for a while, ARs for a while. This time there are no perimeters. If it'll go bang, it'll sell.

There are so many first time gun buys that the manufacturers simply aren't prepared for the expanded customer base.

The Foolish brought no oil for their lamps. This seems very similar...
