As a person with asthma I found some tricks

to breathing. I seem to get pneumonia pretty easily if I let my immune system get down. This can be work stress or poor eating habits, even insufficient sleep. There are bacterial and viral strains of pneumonia but either way it can croak you if you let it get too far ahead of you. Don't be a dead tough guy.

Reading numerous accredited research articles I found several references to very successful treatment of Covid, many more in other nations, using common pneumonia type remedies, with some variations. Namely the type steroids administered and the use of zinc. Also the nubulizer seems to be key to administering the medication and soothing lug tissue inflammation complication.

Back in Feb. of 2020 I was about as sick as I've ever been with unidentified viral pneumonia. Prednisone, Albuterol via nebulizer, and some strong oral antibiotics. Three days and I felt a lot better. A rescue inhaler does not get it, does not penetrate into the lungs deep enough. Still knocked down and felt draggy for several weeks but I was at work and moving. My urologist dismissed checking me for covid antibodies along with my PSA but seemed to feel strongly that I had the virus. He was reviewing my MD's findings, x-ray results, and the treatment. I'm sensing he's not big on the antibody testing credibility to begin with.

Long story short, especially if you are of advanced age, you might ask your physician if a nebulizer could help you and any breathing issues you might have. It literally has saved my life, and countless trips to the ER. Before my nebulizer that was my only option for survival. You can by them on amazon but the medication is by prescription only. That's where your physician comes in. It's worth asking about.

While hunting I still carry a rescue inhaler with albuterol, if any Misfit ever needs a hit at HHC sometime. In an emergency, while in the woods with no medication, Hall's cough drops or simple peppermints have helped me breathe and get back. Back at camp hot tea or strong coffee really help too.
