And HP38 loaded to around 1000 fps. It’s a well metering and clean burning powder. I got it for .32 ACP etc., great in 9mm too. Someone told me is was much like another powder akin to H110/W296 being alike. Perhaps Winchester 231?
Yep, 231

I forget. I shot some 158's and you can really make it buck. The +P level stuff is about right and only hits a little high. I think the 110 stuff would hit POA at this level. I may break down and buy a box of JHP projectiles for it.
i have the Colt Cobra

The 2017 model. 38 Special and +P rated. That pistol is so accurate, i’m going to load some “rabbit” loads and try it. The sights are not what i like, but they work, and the front sight can be replaced. Really nice pistol, makes me think a new Python might be nice. Gotta wait on Huey to buy one(if he hasn’t already), and let us know how he likes it.

It doesn’t work like the “Gold” H4227 of the past. I could barely get above the start load for the 300GNR with H4227 data. i wish they still made H4227.
“Very” not vert
