Picked up a nice S&W 17-3 last week
It was consigned. Pinned barrel, target hammer/trigger, very tight lockup and b/c gap, 6" bbl. Wasn't shot much, no holster wear, faint turn line on cylinder. 6 shots inside a 1" bull at 25'. Fortunately, have plenty of 22LR. Gotta love the older S&Ws.
The 3-T's are a nice feature. Mine is normal
featured. Not sure if it's a 17-3 or 17-4. It's a 8-3/8" and while fun on the range it's a bear to tote. I have a 6" barrel for it and been looking at 4" but procrastinate like a Champion. I may never change it.
