Guns, if not the caliber. I bought the G3C in 9mm and added the G2S in 40 S&W this morning.

The 40 S&W came with more features I like. Although, I did upgrade the G3C to almost match it.

First and foremost, it came with adjustable sights. I like that as we all prefer a different sight position and ammo impact varies between weights/brands.

Second, the 40 S&W comes factory equipped with an all steel recoil rod and spring assembly. The 9mm was poly, now replaced with a stainless assembly from Lakeline.

All in all, an inexpensive and compact powerhouse. Good for woods walking or peaceful protestors...NOT!!!

And really like it. Would figure a 9 patterned close would really be nice.

I'll pick up my TX-22 next week. Heard so much good about..

Them. Have four magazines for it already. 2-16 Rd and 2-10 Rd...

Don’t get in a hurry loading the 16’s and it runs fine

It’s not a target gun like a Ruger etc. but it’s plenty accurate fir service pistol practice. A total thrill suppressed with most ammo it runs subsonic anyway. That’s a bonus. The trigger is excellent. Just read the instructions about adjusting the rear sight.

Walked out to my range with the new G2 40 S&W....

Plenty of recoil from this little gun. The first gun I've ever had hurt my wrists.

But, can freehand a magazine into well under 2" at 7+ yards. Opened up to 4" at 25 yards. Gun was shooting 3" low and 1.5" left. Easily corrected with the adjustable sight.

Ground behind the target showed massive scaring. Ammo was 165 grn FMJ FN. Penetrated deep and made 2.5" cavities in my dirt berm. I like it, but wouldn't put 50 rounds thru it.

You have maybe 20% more “muzzle energy”

Than a 5” 1911 and ball ammo, from a gun that weighs 50% less! But it carries well. No free lunch. The short 10mm is plenty peppy. Same as a 1873 Colt SAA in 38 WCF.

My 16 oz. Kahr P40 is the same. A hand stinging little beast.

Agree 100%...I'm one that's sticking with the 40 S&W...

Like my love for the old hyphenated cartridges, ballistics still rule. As you say, just like a 38-40 in a tiny, packable gun.

With Homeland Security’s stockpile there

Is more than plenty of .40 around! Airline pilots got it issued to them too, the .40.
