took them apart on a regular basis. The parts were gouged and small parts bent from prying them to get them out of the gun and back in again.I try to tell them there is no valid reason to take them totally apart down to the smallest springs and pins but they say the same thing you just did. I quit trying to point them in the right direction or help them out. On the 3rd or 4th time they bring the same gun in in a paper bag they just get charged an extra idiot fee. On the Ruger MK 1, MK 2 or MK 3 pistols I gave up on them on these. I just tell them to send them back to Ruger. I don't have the time nor temperament to deal with people that won't listen and people that think they are smarter than the folks that built the gun.
