Though I am not a super-fan of the NRA in the last few years, this is not a good development for the NRA or our gun rights in general....

Yeah, as good as NY is doing, that's a priority....

Anyone can saunter down to the courthouse and file a lawsuit. The AG knows it's doomed to fail; they just use this 'death by litigation' tactic to force the defendant to squander money defending themselves. Same tactic from her with Trump's tax returns. Hopefully a judge will dismiss it on its face as frivolous. However, in NY in an election year, it's not likely. I just don't see how the AG doesn't think this won't backfire. Do you really want to intentionally aggravate 3 million plus citizens who respect the Constitution, especially the 2cd Amendment, who support law and order and likely vote in every election? If I was a public servant that's the constituency I'd want to represent, not alienate. I guess there's no fixing stupid. Stop paying their salaries. Vote these air heads out of office!! If you're a public servant and don't recognize the value of the NRA to American society, then you have an enemy identification issue. Resign, get out of the way, and go read some history books.
