This is a note from one of our distributors...
LEUPOLD JUST CANCELLED 5,000 FREEDOM SCOPES WE HAD ON ORDER FOR THIS FALL. THERE WILL BE A SHORTAGE THE REST OF THE YEAR.
What a mess for the entire chain of distribution.

Seriously have to wonder if people really do live under rocks.
This has been talked about so much. But, never understood running to the store to buy 100 when I need them either.
I may well be wrong, but suspect these shortages will expand and last long. At least on some items.
Many may learn the hard way that a gun without ammo is an expensive paperweight.
you can chalk primers up to a gone goose. In the last 3 days

we have almost totally sold out of primers and that is only allowing them to buy one 100 round pack at a time. Our two main distributors say probably 90 days minimum to get more in, and maybe longer as most primers are being set aside to use in loading ammo that they are so far behind on..either way it is an "aw shit" situation.
