Handgun ammo shortages are stepping up here.
I have folks that know me through other friends asking me to "make" them some ammo. I don't think so except for a charity hardship case, as a last ditch gift.
Lots of people buying 9mm and .380 guns but unable to find ammo to cheaply practice with. All that's left is the $2 a shot stuff.
I suggested finding a stash of ammo first, then buying a gun to go with it. Get a .41 or .44 Magnum! Maybe a .32 ACP or .32 Long. If you can't find 9mm maybe you can find some .45 or .40, 10mm. Revolvers rule! Not many semi-autos I can ring steel with at 200M (OK resting on a benchrest, with a good wheelgun). If you can't find 5.56 stock up on .30-06 or .270 those are cheap. Roman is rife with 5.4 Russian at less than 50% of .223. Man I think an SKS in that round would be fun.
