Redhawk and has a 4 1/4" barrel. It is chambered in 454 Casull and as normal can be used with 45 Long Colt. It is finished in satin Vapor Honed finish. It has the full Positive Performance Package and is very smooth and accurate. It has the full Gunfighter Grip, top and bottom and has a really nice set of laminated blue and black grips. It has the interchangeable blade front sight with the gold bead blade. It has the Grizzly tracks on the barrel and cylinder. For back packing or hunting in grizzly country it would be hard to beat our Brute. The Brute is normally $1695 on the customer's base Redhawk, so with us furnishing the base gun it should be priced somewhere north of $2700. It is sale priced at $1995.

who, if at all. Definitely a lot of similarities. I actually bought mine with the intent of selling it to someone in Alaska as a "bear gun", but the longer I kept it the more it grew on me. It is a handful with full power loads.

The Wild West wolverine

Brute is a totally different gun that we have been building for 3 years before the Toklat version came out as a copy of our Brute. Our original Alaskan Survivor came out in 1987 and was based on the Ruger Redhawk and 1992 on the Ruger Super Redhawk. Both have since been copied by Ruger. The Ruger folks are great folks and good friends but our guns are not copies of the Ruger guns.

They don't, I was comparing

my Toklat to the 4.2" Redhawk in .44 Magnum. Both are listed at 47 oz. on the Ruger website.
