I had a long talk with Alan at the HHC this

morning and the hunt is officially on. He has room for 65 hunters so if we split them up 4 or so to a room rather than 6 or 8 to a room, that should take the Covid worry out of the situation. Plus a lot of the hunters will be driving to the hunt together so they shouldn't be worrying about being too close to each other in the rooms. Plus he has arranged the dining area a bit different to give us some distancing.

Alan is working to get us some unusual critters there for the hunt. He picked up a small herd of the very unusual European Bison. This is a very unusual bison and almost evil looking, Huge in the shoulders and small in the rear.

He will also have plenty of the regular critters including a nice size elk herd with bull elk and cow elk available. Plenty of exotic sheep and deer and a lot of wild hogs. As we go on a bit closer to the hunt I will have a better tally of what to expect on the hunt and the prices. But for right now don't let the Covid mess worry you at all. Alan said they have had no cases of it among their staff at all. If you want to join us, consider this your personal invitation. Call Sandy to sign up for the hunt. She can be reached at 931-979-4050. When you sign up, let me know so I can keep a running count of how many hunters we will have there. Here are some other examples of some of the critters you can expect to see there...

I called Sandy a few weeks ago and gave a deposit for a hog hunt since this is my first hunt here! This is to let you know I finally did it! I will be coming by myself and am ok with whatever arrangements on a ground floor as i am somewhat disabled. Question, what gun to bring, 44 mag, or 454 casull you made for me? Or a 44 mag Marlin?

Joe, that's great!. Which gun are you most comfortable with?

I went to see JD Jones in Wintersville, Ohio and found out he sold his business. Very heart breaking to see unexpected changes. I guess he wants to slow down also.

John, I would be happy to drive up and pick you up.

As far as walking, that is no problem. They have several ATVs there that they put "older gentlemen" on a ground blind and we do a drive and run some big hogs by them, or a buffalo or two. There are always ways John. From one old goat to another, we can work it out. Shoot, we even let Hamilton Bowen in on our little yearly bash. And felt privileged to have him there. That's Hamilton sitting under the Aoudad mount listening to WB (Scott Boggs) tell the story of his life. That is Dave Manson on the other side of WB, with that dazed look on his face (some of WB's stories will do that to you). .

We also had another good friend join us a year or two back. Jim Taylor joined us and had a great time.[image]

I can't think of a better way to spend a few days than with 50 to 55 close friends, especially when I only see them maybe once a year.
Think it over John. We can make it happen.

I KNOW FOLKS ARE WILLING TO

friends you shouldn't worry about being in the same room with them. And if you are going to be a candy ass then wear your mask.
