I mounted a light on my shotgun for night work against the raccoons.

Seems to work well when I had it out the other night. Being as I am hundreds of miles from home and don't have a lot of tools with me, I used what I have. A country boy can survive.

Duct tape is the best physical thing we have

I'd add zip ties and/or bailing wire to the list.

he used a 1" X 4" block of wood for a riser and a whole roll of black electrical tape to mount a scope on the .22. It was sighted in and held it. It was not coming loose anytime soon! Never underestimate the ingenuity of a resourceful hillbilly. If it works it works.

The only things a complete tool kit needs are duct tape and wd-40.
If it moves and isn't supposed to; use the duct tape.
If it doesn't move and is suppose to move; use the WD-40

Great, But....

Now you have to use a sharpie to cut down the glare from the silver... can’t be tacticool without it being all black right?
