In reality it is a .357 necked to .308? His first guess was it's potentially a 8mm or .321" like a .32 Winchester or .32-40? Me thinks not, and if memory serves all Reeder .32's are .308 bore like many of the industry standard lines.

Would range of bullets (grain weights) are suitable for the

the Ruger .30 cal. (.30 carbine) are some screwy 16.5:1 and manage bullets up to 115 gr. well. Even then that's plenty.

A favorite bullet in the .300 GNR revovler is the 90 gr. or 100 gr. Hornady XTP sized to suit. The 110 gr. Speer varminter is fantastic too if you can find them. I have resorted to making my own to suit, with a focus on 100-125 gr. FNGC and HP for the .327 Federal and .300 GNR. I have shot some 60 gr. JHP XTP's at crazy velocities!

True. The Speer #1835 is great in the 300 GNR.

Everything is whacky now so who knows when they’ll come back.

I use the 90gr XTP's

federal, 321 GNR and so on all have a .308 bore. Always have, always will, Petunia. My 8mm GNR is the only exception. That one being a true 32 caliber.

Gary: 8GNR is a true 32 caliber - AKA .323, correct Sir?
