As the Labor Day weekend is approaching black bear season is around the corner.
I have been shooting the Ruger Redhawk Hunter that Gary had refurbished and put the gun fighter grip on. Wow is that thing comfortable to shoot.
I am very confident in taking a nice black bear with it.
Now. What is your go to bullet for the 44 magnum?
Right now I have a max load with a 240 grain Speer Deep Curl bullet. I cannot recall off hand what it did over the screens but the load is quite accurate.
I shot some out of my Super 16 Contender the other day. Too bad I can't use it for bear in Massachusetts but I can in other states.
So again what is your go to bullet for the 44 magnum and thank you for all of the replies.
