Celebrating Arbor Day
I ran across some old pictures from about 15 years ago when we celebrated Arbor Day. I was in Clarksville, AR for the CSA shoot. One day as I walked to the firing line I decided to shoot a tree that was past the targets a little ways.

I started popping away at it with my sixgun and after a bit someone walked up and asked what I was doing. I said I was shooting the tree until it went down. They thought that a grand idea and joined me. Soon we had 8 or 10 people banging away with pistols rifles and shotguns.

After quite awhile and a lot of ammo my wife walked up with the 41 Magnum and fired a shot. At her shot the tree started coming down and we all scattered.

It was a fun way to celebrate Arbor Day.
