ultra light or "mountain hunting" related is very pricey.

Twenty years ago I bought my 4 man Kifaru with stove for about 700 bucks or so. Now......their smallest tipi with stove will run you 1100 or so.

The 4 man I have is no longer made.

I see their super tarp is 310. I was thinking of a good tarp as that is all that the late Al Goerg used on his hunts in Alaska and the PNW.

It is the nature of things in this day and age.

As I sit here in the living room doing what I have to do online I am planning to do some tent hunts this fall. In fact tomorrow I leave for New Hampshire to do a Labor Day weekend hunt for black bear. Maybe the TC 45-70 will sing.
