another crazy day. People are buying EVERYTHING

one fellow came in a bit ago, looked at the showcases (instead of 25 to 30 guns in them, there were 5). He saw a little SCCY pistol (good little 9mm pocket pistol). He said "I have never heard of that brand but it is the only gun left in town so I'll take it". And that is how it has been for the last 6 weeks. People are buying everything and anything. We got 2500 rounds of 9mm in Thursday and we are down to 10 boxes left and that is limiting it to one box per person. People come up from Phoenix looking for guns and ammo as apparently Phoenix is OUT of everything. Hunting ammo is still in stock as there is no rush on it. Lots of ammo on line at jacked up prices and most of it is steel cased crap at twice retail plus shipping.

We are filling up the showcases with our custom guns that we have been trying to get finished over the past 2 to 3 weeks but they are selling as quick as we can get them finished too. The deluxe Ultimate Hi Power that we just finished sold a few minutes ago. It is good to have a good sales day but there is coming a time when we won't have anything left to sell. Most of my guys are working on the custom orders and it may come down to that being the only guns left and they are customer's guns and already sold.

It is nuts and most of the people are worried about what is going to happen the day after the election. Antifa has already bragged if Biden doesn't win they will burn the country down and it has people spooked.

Went to the gun show today

It was a really big (400 tables) show for MT. All pistol and military caliber rifle ammo was selling for 80 cents to 1 dollar a bullet. Lots of reloads for “sale” at 50 cents a piece. Interesting that 30 rnd pmags were not selling at $12 each. AR’s were all over the place price wise. I picked up a new 7.62 x 39 for $650. Most were selling for $800-$900. Gunpowder was under $25 pound and primers were selling for $50 / thousand. The cheapest used Glock i found was $700. I also picked up a few “prizes” for the HHC. Hmmm

I’m wondering if the future of the market

Will the saturation point break over and a later a sell off occur or will the “value” of the gun, it’s sense of self defense and freedom be reinforced and prices remain elevated?

Bunches of folks are desiring to learn the old skills of reloading and even casting. Oddly many reloaders are seeking to begin on progressive “ammo factories”, Lord help them all. The single stage press is not dead by a long shot, it’s brother the turret press is less known but a wonderful benefit. Progressives have so much going on at once that it requires sound knowledge and astute attention to detail. Mistakes or problems are multiplied. Learn to walk before running.

as long as we have Antifa threatening to burn the country

down if Biden doesn't get in as prez, people will hang on to their guns. They are afraid. They are not hoarding. They are expecting some bad juju on the day after the election, whichever way it goes.

Just wait until the run on encores and G2s

Made up a 430GNR carbine last night and took it to the range today. Was a real conversation piece and my buddy who works at the gun store shot it and loved it! The new “tactical”! Fast to reload and it can reach out!

I was able to buy 6 boxes of Scorpio(?) 9mm

Lesser used handguns to GNR at HHC. He can use them if you can’t! He needs to be able to make a profit without scalping someone. The hassle of selling them yourself, and to whom, is worth something to discount. Something to think about.

Hmmm may sell off my Ruger American pro 45

I will gladly buy them from you. Yesterday was a total wipe out. At the end of the day we had 2 guns left, but 44 mag Super Blackhawks are not something the average person wants for self defense. Although they would do a great job, just hard to conceal. We went thru over 2000 rounds of 9mm yesterday with a limit of one box per person. Word has got out that I am a wonderful fuggin person plus we have ammo, so people are coming 3 and 4 hours to get one or 2 boxes of ammo.

bring your guns and if the price is a bit high for me,

there will be 30 or so other people there that might jump on them. We always have a couple of tables full of guns and you are welcome to put your gun or guns on there for sale.
