Things are so variable I am not 100% sure what I am doing.

Currently I am working at home which is very demanding although I have been able to do some hunting in the early AM and late PM.

So far I took a chance and did a Labor Day NH bear hunt. It was unsuccessful as far as getting a bear.

I hunted with my TC Contender and Super 16 4570 barrel that Gary redid and ported. That is my go to gun.

For a back up I carried my Ruger SR1911 in 10mm Auto .

I did some black bear hunting in Massachusetts with my Ruger Redhawk Hunter. It has a 2x Burris scope and again it was redone by Gary a while back. Shoots nice.

As of September 15th I have been doing some crossbow hunting for deer in Connecticut. No deer seen. It isn't what it was ten years ago. Connecticut lost one half of its deer herd.

It appears I am to return working on center October 5th so the days of hunting before and after work are done unless the director tells us to head back home and do remote learning again.

October 19th to November 28th it is Massachusetts archery season so it will be the ole Bowtech Guardian.

Now Halloween weekend New Hampshire opens it's muzzleloader season. Since I have the license and it is the rut I may go up for a three day weekend in NH and tent it. It will be brutally cold.

TC Contender handgun with a 45 caliber muzzleloader barrel on.

I'll carry the Ruger SR1911 on my side because I can in NH( unlike southern New England states)

November 30th to December 31st it is Massachusetts shotgun and muzzleloader season. So again it will be the TC Contender but with a stock on the frame.

I still want to do some kind of special hunt but I have one week left before going back. I figured out how to use my hotspot to do my duties on line.
