I actually still use them to my great delight. They produce fantastic quality and accurate ammunition. A box of 50 rounds in 40-45 minutes if you are not distracted. Dick Lee really was a smart fellow.
I DO have a 8x57 kit and if I can fetch that much for it I'll make it a distant memory. Back in the day I'd get the odd kit for some obscure old military caliber for half what a box of Norma ammo cost. Just so a buddy could use a surplus Mauser to deer hunt one season. I used to buy used kits for $5. Many people I have introduced to loading .38/.357 with a little gift kit in an old .30 Cal. ammo can. Providing powder, bullets, primers, a little plastic or brass hammer, and the little LEE kit. You are in business!
I actually have my eye on an old .38/40 kit for nostalgia sake.
