What kind of Bat is this?

I live on the MIssissippi Gulf Coast and found this bat skeleton while cleaning out a shed. It’s about 8” y’all and wing span would of had to be 18”.

Don't know what that is, when first married my wife called me and said there was a bat in the fire place. I said we don't have bats here, got home it was a vampire bat. We got 4 loads of mexican cattle in that day , it had to have road in on the cattle , but it was crazy

That can "easily" be identified if the bat has an intact skull --well not that easy but not difficult

About 14 species of bats in the gulf coast states. Based on your size estimates maybe a Big Brown.
