I know it works. Too many friends that I trust love it. I have read good reports on it.
Why haven't I done it?

I am an old fart who likes lubed cast lead bullets.
I have always done it that way.
I don't want to change.
I don't want to experiment.
If I want a jacketed bullet I will go with metal instead of plastic.
I am an old fart.
I have always done it that way.
I don't want to try something new.
Did I mention that I am an old fart?
I like the bullets the way I cast and lube them.
OH .. I like bacon too!
Real bacon.
From hogs.
Not some crap made from a bird or soybean pretending to be bacon.
I am not sure how I got on that subject but it could be because I am an old fart and like things the way I like them.

No one need agree with me.
It won't hurt my feelers and I won't need a safe space.

# me too, change weighs to much

Another staple of this old fart and I agree with you!

I put a pot of northern beans and bacon ends on this morning

Supper tonight and freezing some for camp.

Whatever works for ya! Just a different technology.

There was a time when brass cartridges, revolving and repeating firearms, even smokeless powder were looked upon as new fangled inventions. Not necessarily cutting edge, but a different use for a fairly old product that, prevents contamination of powder, appears to work in all climates, can cast and powder coat thousands then size in an inexpensive die to various sizes needed on hand, has also been shown to be able to add to diameter for when cast slightly undersize.
I enjoy making my own lube, but if I can do away with the mess and multiple dies for various lube grooves, I think I'll give it a go.

Some shooters cover the target, some halfway on the horizon, some let it set atop the blade.

I agree Jim, pretty much for the same reasons

I also am an old fart, even older than you.
If I try something new I will screw it up
if it makes a mess all over my reloading room I will catch hell
if it stinks, and makes the house stink, I will catch hell
If I coat a bunch of bullets and load them for test firing and they aren't accurate I will catch hell.
My way of casting and lubing bullets is probably a lot slower and more of a pain in the butt, but if it is just me, I won't catch hell.
Like you i like real bacon. I know bacon from a turkey is healthier but it isn't natural. I will stick with a pig.
How did we get on a bacon subject?
Like you I don't like to experiment. Every time I do I end up divorced.
not many people know it but old farts rule the world. Except when my wife is around, then I catch hell.
Did I mention I am older than you?

He could have mentioned coffee.

I was told that all preacher types favored chicken over anything else. On account of them trying to get back at that one for telling on Peter!

Never heard that one ...but it is funny.
