One today. The housing maintenance guys called me at work and said “bad news were here in the living room, your friend is dead in his recliner, what do you want us to do?!” Cripes! Call the Fuzz and tell them I’m on the way. The guy I have been taking to dialysis a couple years. My old childhood friend and shooting buddy. Passed in his sleep after I dropped him off last night. Screw it I’m headed to HHC. His family are already fighting each other over literal junk. We are bugging out. Roman and I are taking the place of James and Alcorn’s girlfriend. Roman got the short straw! Sorry Son.

We are running out on important work but we’ll be there mid Thursday. I’m not really wanting to kill anything but never say never. Looking forward to some show and tell. I’m taking one or two pistols ... and two .50 BMG rifles if anyone want to try them out. Looking forward to getting away with some of the best guys there are.

Sorry to hear that. Go refresh with your son!

I'll sure miss you other guys who I've been with before. It is a very special experience. It's like we are all made bonded old friends by this common interest and experience. Everyone will have their last HHC one day.

sorry to hear that Scotty

my mother and father lived with he and his wife in California. This was during the post war boom years in the late 1950's. He was supposed to get my dad a job with the rail road but it didn't develop. Dad worked in a fiberglass fabrication factory and a place making iron gate and grating. I almost was a CA kid.

We have all been friends over the years and I am still friends with is children. They'd come visit in the summers. Donnie is about my age and we shoot guns when he came to visit. He used to shoot his Dad's High Standard Model B .22 back in the day and I shot my Father's Ruger Std. Auto.

The old man told me last time he drove to AR, "this is my last time to come to AR". Old coots sometimes say things like that. But by golly he was right. End of an era.

We escalated the shooting fun over the years.lol

Wow! Very sorry Scotty

If I didn't have $17K of gear showing up at work tomorrow I think I would have bailed for HHC when Gary said this may be his last. You all be safe and have fun.
