Ruger has purchased Marlin.....I would love to see the Model 39 be brought back as an affordable rifle. Glad Marlin ended up with a quality group

I suppose time alone will answer these questions...

I believe these two companies are a great fit.

Learned years ago not to say "Never" in a sentence with Ruger. I still run across guns that were never a catalog item.

No telling what will become available.

Might no be popular, but never a fan of Remington's operation. At least Ruger has a history of listening to their customers.

But, I just bought a Miroku-Winchester 1892. Has the rebounding hammer and tang safety. I think I like it better. Can certainly live with either.

Glad to see Marlin saved...

I'm glad too. I have 20 some Marlins and may need parts.
