This is the official agreed upon story (lie) of the hunt.
Scotty was watching my 6 (looked over my back as we were bullshitting) and spotted a monster (under 200 lbs) hog pawing the ground (most likely looking for food). When he spotted us he immediately started charging our position (walking rather slow in our general direction). At five yards he stopped to evaluate a possible flanking maneuver ( turned broadside). At that point I fired a single shot at which point he fell dead ( that parts true). Special thanks to my partner in crime (Sir Boggs)
