Outside of it is subject to getting scraped off! Lol. Arai and Shoei are my personal favorite lids. Now be careful and enjoy. Safety (sometimes) in numbers, pretend you are invisible, basically you are. Always be ready for cars turning left in front of you.
Enough spooky talk.
Reaching life goals is a real blessing, no matter how seemingly small to others. Enjoy them and savor each day, each ride. The faster you go the quicker it’s over. No matter what anyone rides there is a bond, brothers of the road. You’ll meet some interesting people, and are likely become one yourself! Keep me posted. Many Misfits ride.
What would you see Gary riding (motorcycle) if he chose to do so? I don’t think he’s ever been interested much, but everyone has a type. I’m thinking Indian, maybe Triumph. It’s a personal thing. At least to anyone who is not a motorcycle whore like me. Lol
Gary is old school Ghost Rider,

I’m more of a Mule man. All my buddies had these little quick quarter horses. I grew up with gated saddle horses. Boy to have a good gated Mule. All it takes is money, lots of it.
Amede are you a Harley guy?

I have a choice to make Heritage classic or a fat boy. Decisions, decisions.
If you know, help me out.
I'm looking real hard at a 2005 Sportster 1200r

These guys are really good (great) riders. Operators have a lot to do with the equipment.
Not really a Harley guy but I have ridden quite a few

I do like the Fat Boys. I thought they were easier to ride than some of the others. I have never cared for the full baggers, BUT if your wife wants to go then that might be your best choice.
Currently I have a 2018 Kawasaki Versys 650 LT and a 2017 Husky FX450 for the dirt. Still looking for a bigger bike for long trips, but havent found what I want yet.
Man a 10 yr. old BMW boxer RT hardly broke in

is only in the $3k range with bags and all sorts of do-dads. The guys that have them take real good care of them. They are unique and comfortable. It's a $20k bike well sorted for only $3k, fully depreciated.
As I recall, a mule rider once won a coast

To coast endurance race by a pretty good margin. Everyone else rode horses but the mule turned out to be the hardiest holding up and winning the race. I will try to find the article!

Always bet on the mule, and don't forget to apologize.

in all my racing I only will wear Arai or Shoei. I prefer Aria as their my head fits their shape better. Welcome to the scooter club and I hope you have years of fun on that bike Winn.
Don't get sold on an open face helmet.

Open face helmets catch wind like a sail. Its sucks,.. or blows,.. i dunno. Highway speeds are awful in an open face helmet. Get a good full faced helmet. There are lot out there that look cool and retro for HD riders. I'll be the first to admit, a high tech looking helmet doesn't look great on a Harley. But go with a full face helmet. Get a good one. Go by the fit, not the price tag. I'm a cheap-ass, but this is definitely a buy once cry once kinda of thing.
