Are the Trail Guns built on the Single Six a six shot or a five shot in 10mm/40?
How does the 10mm version perform?
They are 5-shot guns.

I have one in .40 S&W and Huey has a 10mm, I know. My decision on .40 S&W was driven by super cheap brass and the fact that I can seat the bullets to the 10mm OAL and load it accordingly to 10mm specifications. This effectively gives me a 10mm load in my .40 S&W gun, it's safe, as it cannot be fired in a .40 S&W semi-auto magazine.
Ditto, Huey can seat his 10mm long and add a bit to go beyond normal 10mm levels at the same pressure. 10mm brass is 2-3x what .40 S&W is but in the SA you are not chucking it into the bushes/Tall grass as with your favorite semi-auto. So it's sort of moot.
But folks give me .40 brass all the time and I'm delighted to get it. I have Kahr, Glock, and Beretta .40 Cal. guns. I even have a Ruger GP100 custom in 10mm that easily shoots .40 in the full moon clips.
Not wanting to beat up my fine little custom I loaded some .40 cases (long seat - 10mm spec.) with some Berry's 155 gr. HP and 180 gr. JHP to give an initial test. I used the same 8.5 gr. Longshot charge. The 155 ran 1337 fps average in the 6.5" Trailgun and my 180 gr. averaged 1267 fps. That will do nicely!
