Took a ride and did some scouting.

I think that was the first snow this year. I also did a 3 hour hike around Breakneck Pond yesterday which straddles the CT, MA border. Was lucky enough to spot a pair of bald eagles in my new Nikon Monarch 7 10x42 binoculars. I've seen a number of single eagles in CT over the last 10 years or so, but this was the first time I'd seen a pair.

That is the Presidential Range with Mt Washington in the center.
