And then I found another one. It is a 1973 ruger blackhawk 3 screw. I couldn’t help myself. I didn’t realize it was made the same year I was until after I bought it. That is kinda neat.

It is not that I don’t like the 357. I have quite a few of them actually. I have just really fallen in love with the medium frame ruger 44 specials over the last few years. But I am enjoying this new pistola!

LGS had 2 this spring but I was somehow able

Set you up for contradiction. Lol I’m almost embarrassed at the fine old worn OM .357s I’ve sacrificed for customs. But I was bored with them and they held no unique collector interest other than refined utility. An original keeper would be nice to have around. I’m revisiting the .35 cal. wheel guns for pleasure shooting. I have a 8-3/8” M27 that I figure is about the ultimate for me as to being able to hit a mark with an iron sighted revolver.

My 8 3/8" 27-2 is a keeper.

You could have Gary fancy it up into a 44 special

Like this one. 1975 built 357, case hardened/channeled frame, mongolian stage grips.

I love that Flat Top!
