guns. Most were 45s. Old fellows with bad health problems would come in the shop, pick out a 45, write us a check for the gun and a box ammo, go home, lay down on the bed, put the gun either in his mouth or against his heart and pull the trigger. Invariably the check would bounce so we would get the gun back covered in dried blood. I would put it in the showcase with a sign mentioning that it was a suicide gun and it would normally sell within an hour or so. People like strange stuff.
