Bought a G31 with Fiber Optic Sights and they made a world of difference for sport shooting.

Want to upgrade my G35, G20 and G21 too. Looking for experience on these and opinions on the ones I've posted.

I've got a couple custom revolvers with vertical white line front sights on them. My eyes do well with those, so ordered a similar set for one of the Glocks this morning.

white post start switching them to those. Reverse if you shoot better with fiber optic rods..

I may go with four different configurations...

Just to see what works best. There are few limits upgrading Glocks. They all have Lone Wolf Barrels, so more hunting style than fighting guns.

What has the bbl to do with being a fighting/hunting gun?

Combat guns are usually chambered more loosely for feeding in a firefight. Also, reloading is not a factor for over expanded brass.

Hunting guns usually aren't fired repeatedly like battle guns. Excessive heat can cause a tight chambered gun to lock up.

Other factors are some of the hunting type barrels are ported which can blind you in a night fight.

My criteria for referencing "hunting barrels" was my use of cast bullets for hunting which are not recommended for factory Glock Barrels.

Others may disagree, but that's ok...

I might suggest Dawson Precision or Kensight

I have a full set of fibers (front & rear) and set with fiber front, serrated black rear. I like the serrated flat black rear sight MUCH better. That green fiber rear is too bright for me in full sun. Both sets are adjustable rears. Maybe Kensight rear, Dawson fiber front? That would be a good combo.

True, factory Glock barrels don't like lead bullets but a KKM doesn’t mind cast, jacketed or plated. Just an observation.

Yeah for most situations I'd like a fiber optic

front and serrated rear. Any color on the rear and it fights for attention with the front for my eyes. And Dawson Precision does make nice sights...

Huey, try XM sights. Big dot front and wide back. Just dot
