my friend, converting his G35 into a .357 SIG version. The Alpha series is a bit of a waste to me for the money. You are paying for "fluting" and a fancy black finish that is not needed for about 1/3 increase in price. But I got a deal after searching the web a good while. Now with ammo running from $35 cents to $2.45 cents each he's ready to have fun. I hope he gets dies and we load for it.
I'd go for a 9X25 Dillon or 7.62x25 on my G21 but I'm not really jazzed about the SIG on the larger platform. I have 9mm Luger, 10/.40 barrels and .460/ACP on that platform. Oddly the 9x19mm is a 6" Lone Wolf, as is the 10mm! I get the performance of a long slide, but not the balance or sighting.
