Reeder Custom Guns - For those who shoot unusual calibers...

Probably a good time to stock up. Some items still available, but wonder for how long. Manufactures gravitate towards profit only. So, the more obscure stuff will be the last to go back into production.

I stocked up on 38-40, 10mm Magnum,41 Special and 44-40 brass before it's gone.

Many calibers have never returned after the last shortage. I suspect this shortage will last a while. The more obscure stuff will definitely take a back seat to the stuff in high demand.

The manufacturers are so far back logged that it will take weeks or even months to even start to catch up. Many of the ammo manufacturers are up in the NE and are still shut down due to the Covid crap. If things were going to get better with all the demand they would be better right now. Like I have said before no gun shop can order anything. We have to wait til the distributors call every morning and let us know what came in overnight and what we can have. I could sell 5000 rounds of 9mm in the next 12 hours if I could get it and if you think the manufacturers are holding off until this is all over and people quit buying you are nuts.

And if Antifa stands by what they are saying and start burning things down the demand is only going to increase. Antifa is not going to say "oh well Trump won, so let's go home".

Most of 'em don't have any ammo and have no clue when any will be coming in.

The fliers the companies mail out are just a few pages and most of that is optics or clothes.

This is gonna be the new "normal" for quite awhile.

Some bullet manufactures stopped making anything besides 9mm, 38, 40, 44 and 45.
