barrel. You could shoot 100 rounds thru that Redhawk every week for the rest of your life and never wear it out. I had a fellow bring in a Remington model 700 in 308 made in the late 70s or early 80s recently and wanted us to put a new barrel on it. I looked down the barrel and asked him why. He said he had run between 700 and 800 rounds thru it and his "expert" friends told him it was shot out. I told him when her gets 25,000 rounds thru it bring it in and I will check it out for him. In the meantime quit listening to his idiot friends. These days with the much better steels we have the chances of having a barrel shot out is almost non existent. So don't worry about wearing out your Redhawk barrel. It ain't gonna happen.

Well I will have to try harder... thanks
