today we are down to about 25. We called our powder and primer distributor and he just laughed. He said it would be probably the first of the year before we got any more, if then. So if you guys are low on powder or primers you probably should grab what you can while you can. We ran out of small rifle and small pistol primers the first week and haven't been able to find any since then. So stock up while you can.

I’m breaking out the single shots for entertainment

I can shoot (20) rounds in a session and find it totally gratifying. That stretches a box of primers to 5 good sessions, spread out over time. I’m also breaking out the Muzzleloader and pellet/BB guns to keep a sharp eye. Just try to find #11 caps! I’m holding some other enthusiasts resources in reserve. The Reeder Banshee’s provide tons of fun shooting only 12-13 grs. Powder at a time and mimic trajectories of full on big game rounds. I cast for the .255 Banshee (60/80 gr. FNGC) and have a 95 gr. .243 (.240 Banshee) mould I’ve been wanting to try.

Conserving resources can be fun too.

Found 1 tin of cci #11s at the local big box store

pistol primers last week. Federal 100's. I profusely thanked them for thinking of me! They out of the blue received 5000.

I shoot every week so I’m limiting myself to

25 rounds per pistol and 20 per rifle for awhile to try to conserve a bit. Just had another hand surgery so I’m not shooting pistols anytime soon.
