Colleen had to go to Phoenix today on dog business so I was stuck in the gun shop and those people are crazy as a shithouse mouse. It doesn't matter what it is, if it goes bang they will buy it. I sold just about every gun in the showcases and could have sold even more if we had it. A while back one of our distributors asked me if we could use any Hi Point pistols. I laughed and told not only no, but hell no. Today I would sell my virgin grandmother on the street for a few of them.

Those Hi-points are cheesy but go bang!

The grips hold critical, sometimes plastic, parts in place. Don’t let normal people take them apart. I find them shockingly reliable. I had one special order .40 carbine for a county deputy one time. It shot under 2” groups at 50 yds. With 180 gr. ammo running 1150 fps! That would kill a deer. They sell like hot cakes. The argument is there is a large group of folks who can’t afford much at all but need to protect themselves. That’s their target market. All good, but in their crime infested late as often the guns are stolen (by family members many times) and end up in the wrong hands. They get a bad rap.
