ammo shortage is going on in this country and they bitch if they can't get bulk ammo. What the hell is wrong with these people. They think the shortage is OK for the average guy but they deserve to be able to buy 500 to 1000 rounds of it. One box of ammo is about all that most people can buy due to the shortage. We get people in our gun shop every day and they want the whole damn shelf of ammo. We tell them one box only and they throw a fit because they are special and they deserve the whole shelf of ammo for themselves. I have told more than one person to go to Sportsmans Warehouse when they demand more than one box. Mainly because I know they don't have any in stock.
But I am really tired of being sorta the nice guy. Just like the guy below that wants 500 rounds of 5.7 because he always gets 500 or 1000 rounds when he buys a gun. If he got 100 rounds he got 50 rounds more than I would have sold him or he could go to another shop. Maybe they will put up with "special people".

entitled Aholes, my day has been full of them

double normal retail. I have seen $125 for a brick of small rifle primers, $89.95 for a box of 9mm FMJ, $150 for 2 boxes of 5.7 X 28, $165 for 2 one lb cans of Varget powder and so on. Unless someone's life was in danger anyone that pays these gouging prices probably deserves it. And there are a lot of scams on the internet too on bulk ammo. People charging double retail and then a couple of weeks later you get an e-mail saying they are currently out of stock and will contact you when that stock comes in (which in most cases is never).
