Reeder Custom Guns - a custom 1911 just finished for Scotty Boggs (WB)

This is a custom 1911 Kase made for himself and then Scotty conned him out of it at one of the HHCs a while back. The gun was getting a bit ragged and needed some TLC. So we refinished it completely, added a green fiber optic front sight, made and fit a set of Mongolian Stag grips and did a good test firing of it. All in all it turned out pretty good.

Roman is a gun bully. Thinks he gets first pick of everything. Tori and Benj have something to say about that! But sister is a bit of a wheel gunner. So the boys will settle it.

It now looks almost as good as it shoots!

Kase’s work is, in my opinion, the full equal if not superior to the old masters (who don’t do the work themselves) at a cost of 2-3x more. This was sort of a parts gun he threw together for himself, not intended to be an example of custom. A test mule shooter. Man does it shoot! Now it looks the full business!
