whats the aprox value of a ruger m77 in 30-06 it's blue with a nice walnut stock in about 90% condition asking for a friend who's thinking about selling/trading it

recently in 30-06 to turn into our African Classic in 275 Rigby and the most we paid was $425. The others we got for a bit under $400. There are too many of them on the market for $500 or under to price it at $700 or more. They are excellent guns and super strong but the young hunters feel it is old fashioned and don't want to have anything to do with it.

I agree. I looked at a 77 in 308 but it was priced

about $100 more than I could get a Savage Axis with scope, new in the box. The Axis has a good reputation so I went with it rather than a used gun priced higher and with no sights or scope.

EARLY LIGHTWEIGHT M77 .308 WITH 4X WEAVER FOR CHRISTMAS 3 YEARS AGO. WOULD NOT HAVE TAKEN $1,000. WOOD,STEEL, NO WARNING LABEL.

Gunbroker, do an advanced search and choose completed items. Type in what you are interested in and start reading. Obviously you only want sold items not just sale ended. Good luck.
