Grip Replacement
A big "Thank You" to Gary and Nate for the new grips on my revolvers.
My BFR with the Bisley frame came with white Micarta grips and was somewhat plain.

Green and gray laminates fixed that.

My 357 BFR came with the standard frame and rubber grips.

It now wears red and gray laminated grips with the Gunfighter modification.

And it may feel like a warm breast on a cold night but I think that is the ugliest profile to the eye I've ever seen. LOL, LOL!
Your trick with the laminate did wonders, I think it's the lines confusing the eye and distracting from the actual true shape. I guess someone must have been messing with Play-dough and said "hey, this sure is ugly but feels good, let's just do it". LOL
But I know if it was not top notch you'd not be messing with it. I respect your judgement 100%. I know you buddy.

I designed that as our Lawman gripframe 11 years ago. MR just sorta copied it. And it does feel good in the hand, probably not as good as that warm breast on a cold night but...

Honestly, not playing favorites, yours looks much
better sculpted. It's hard to even notice it has a very plain stick type profile with it melded to the flat frame sides. The MR looks ugly from across the room. Looks like a piece of melted PVC pipe bent over.
I profess to be performance driven but I waffle on the MR grip. LOL
Side by side yours wins hands down, simple subtle detail makes all the difference.
