Our lesson was on Job. His buddies came to comfort him but only used human reasoning of their limited understanding of the situation and made a total mess of it. He said it would have been better if they had said nothing and just left.

They tried to explain his troubles in worldly logic, while God in the background, was teaching Satan a lesson in Heaven with eternal ramifications. Our brief time here in this world plays back seat to God's true will in eternity! The wise men comforting had no idea what was "really" going on.
