TOSSED EMPTY BRASS IN BUCKETS IN MY WORKSHOP BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO CHEAP TO BUY TO SPEND TIME AND MONEY RELOADING. ALL HAS CHANGED. SORTING-CLEANING-LOADING. FIRST 1,000 LOADED.

I to kept my brass too...just in case.

many many rounds of once fired 9mm brass. We set it in a corner of the shop in a box 2'X2' by 10" deep, full of 9mm brass. In the last 2 weeks it has all disappeared. We had a box even bigger full of 223/5.56 brass, and within a couple of weeks it has vanished too. There are a lot of new reloaders out there. And finding large boxes of once fired brass for 1¢ or 2¢ each is like a Christmas present to them.

Over the past couple of years I have sorted out 45 ACP brass and put the small primer brass in a couple of large 3LB coffee cans. There is probably a couple thousand pieces of brass in there, maybe more. This weekend I plan on switching one of my Dillon presses to small primer and loading most of that brass. It is the same as standard 45 ACP brass except it has the small primer so no change in bullet weight or powder charge is planned.
