We fixed the problem with the M1919, it was the modified FA into semi-auto sear. I bent the riveted tab about 2mm and it works! Now to commit to a tripod or conversion to A6 (or both). Roman is just giddy. This rig was probably a participant in the 6-day war. An American turned Israel and converted to 7.62x51.

The sear in it's deformed state, that little lean outward missed the trigger engagement. That little added, riveted on, piece sticking out past the top.

I finally cleaned up my two inherited M94's. It began as a very humbling exercise. But later on I enjoyed the memories of my old friend and I'm good with it now. I like the crusty fancier version, even though it needs more help. I new it was going to be rough with dobber nests on the gun cases!

Lost the case finish but even in patina it is cleaning up. I need that ring for the side (cripes they are $20 for just the ring!). But I like it.

Now the .410... A Spanish copy of the Mossberg bolt 4-shot repeater.

It had a little surprise I found after I pulled the trigger to slide the bolt out. Yikes! It was stuck solid and had jumped the ejectors. Even a punch would not loose it. Plastic rod from the nozzle got it. One we got the mud dobber out of the end.

ALWAYS CHECK for loaded chambers when someone gives you a gun!

A favorite that I did not photo was a 1970's Marlin 783 tube feed .22 WMR. THE Southern shooters truck gun. It's not pristine but a good one, the deluxe version with fancier wood and the bullseye mark. A keeper for sure. I needed one.
