some type of Texas lawman. I remember my Uncle Don as an impressive man of stature and speech. He had a friend that was an old retired Texas Ranger that he invited over once so Pop could meet him. This was before I was born. He said when the old fella sat down at the kitchen table for coffee, he pulled an old Colt single action from his waist band no holster and laid it on the table. This was in the mid to late 60s. I would love to have been there to listen to his stories. I would have asked him 1000 questions about just that revolver!
