buying up massive quantities in order to resell them at a huge increase in price ...

at least thats what I thought it meant .. any who reloads much at all has thousands of primers on hand, but ain't robbing people by selling them at exorbitant prices.

the hoarders that piss me off are the ones that have a big

supply of ammo, powder, primers etc at home but come in every day and buy more. They say the same theing, 'I have plenty but I like to buy more every time I am in here". That pisses me off. Quit being a greedy bastard and leave some for the others that might really need them. I have folks tell me they have 50,000 primers at home and almost that many bullets but they want more. I have had them pull 30,000 primers off the shelf and put them on the showcase to buy. I tell them they are limited to one pack of 100 primers and they get all pissy and walk out. I don't mind losing that customer.

Last 2 times I saw primers. left them for the next guy

Picked up a case of each when they were plentiful. At our average age it might be a lifetime supply.

There was a terrible shortage in the early 90s...

The only rifle primers I could find were the CCI #34. I found three bricks a few weeks back and they are 100% sure fire.

Haven't gotten low since. Had a guy sell me 10k CCI SMR primers for $100. Said he couldn't sell them. Lots of folks say not many cartridges require SMR primers. No required and won't work are not the same thing.

that 10K of primers that you don't need you should have

sold them at a decent price to your local gun shop and let them spread some of the around to folks that need them. SRM primers are not hard to load at all. Just drop your powder charge by one grain and that has worked for me forever.

I've used them in 218 Bee, 25-20 and 32-20 with...

Powders like 1680 and H110. It just amazes me that the guy thought these were useless because they were Small Magnum.

Heck, you can buy 6.5 Creedmoor and other 308 Win based brass now with small primer pockets.

It is all about control for the left, and lack of insight on

the right. Just preserve what you have, buy when you are able, stay close to Jesus and be wary as a serpent.

I agree with you on most of that but I don't

believe the left has anything to do with this ammo and primer shortage. Also I agree with the preserve what you have but not buy when you are able. leave some for your fellow shooter. Don't be a greedy prick as a lot are.

Points taken, agree.
