The neighbor's boy shot a nice big 8 pointer this morning. They did not want the meat and brought it to us. So we got out the knives and went to work.

We got a bit more than 35 pounds of meat off the old boy. He is gonna make some good meals this winter. We will eat some of the filet this evening.

Nice blessing!

Doing the same thing here this afternoon. May not finish it up today but that's ok. The cool front has moved in and it is pretty cold and windy on the deck where I am working. Going to have some backstrap tonight.

Just brought a mulie buck home this morning

if I didn't want the meat.

The neighbor is divorced and lives by himself.

His boy comes to visit and he takes him hunting. They give us the meat and we process it and always give him some. Nothing goes to waste on the ranch.
